basic cage only kit from LanParte is one of the most user friendly yet sturdy cage design in the market. Made out of 6061 aviation grade aluminum to provide best protection and lightweight feature. The LanParte RED KOMODO cage consists of the trifecta of compact cage system, the top handle, top rod clamp and side brackets.
The top handle with rod clamp-
LanParte designed this cage with all other accessories in mind and managed to keep the whole ecosystem minimalist just like the RED KOMODO camera. When you are doing run and gun shoots, lens accessories such as wireless follow focus motors can still be mounted through the top rod clamp. Also the sliding top handle can easily help operators adjust counterbalance of the whole rig while all the accessories are rigged up.
All the mounting points on the top handle are spaced out perfectly for users to mount their accessories on. Standardized 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16 as well as ARRI accessory mounts that makes this cage compatible with all industry standard mounting.
Side brackets-
Fitted with a standard ARRI rosette mount on each side bracket, the front facing end of the side bracket also provides mounting points for the most recommended VOCAS RF-PL lens adapter.
